Posted by: geckoejon at Sat Aug 8 19:18:15 2009 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by geckoejon ] well, i don't have any blues but i have a pair of ridley. i believe they are closely related. my ridleyi were very nippy for about the first 6 months or so. the male tamed down fairly quickly but the female took a little longer. mine are just plain pets, so i handled them often to get them used to me. they are to the point now that neither one strikes once out, but the female still will musk. i kept them very humid while hatchlings but once about 3 ft i eased off and only have a moist box inside their enclosure. i have not found much info on ridleyi. you might have more feedback on the blues. it seems more people are working with them. i don't know why they aren't more common. i think mine are great personally | ||
