Hi!
First: Big congrats! They look great. Even if they don't proof out to be a single gene mutation, they still are very handy to improve the basics.
Here is my thing:
They don't look like bloodreds. Though I see the red color, I do not see similarities with bloods. Bloods have markers like black eyes and stuff. I think it is something even cooler:

I am missing yellow pigments! They are very red, because that is all that's showing, besides the greys and the blacks!
Imagine what will happen if you would remove all the reds, it will be a very very very grey, not brown, animal. AND remove the greys and the black: PURE WHITE aka Blizzard!
This is my thought, and I think you have a very nice project IF it proves out for you. It takes years, so I wish you patience
