It's hard to tell but there's definitely Lewisi blood in that male. A cuban hybrid often has some orange visible but I don't see any tell tale signs in these pictures. Do you have a pictue of his profile? Lewisi and Caymensis have a longer snout compared to a Cuban.



I'm not sure if your vet will be any help with DNA testing. Years ago, Texas A&M was doing DNA testing. They did it on my pair which confirmed them to be pure Lewisi. I'm not sure who is doing this work now-a-days.



Here's a picture of my pure Lewisi male. This is a good profile picture that shows the length of the snout compared to a Cuban.
