We've gotten a little rain recently but we had an extremely long dry spell as well. I've seen enough snakes though. I'll post some pics sometime when I get around to it. Plenty of ribbons, several rats, numerous copperheads, couple cottonmouths, and lots of nerodia as usual. Some racers but numbers less during worst part of drought. I was in San Antonio recently and found plenty of nerodia around a water source but far fewer ribbons than normal there and I imagine the woodland snakes are about zilch in central TX. | ||
