RE: a bit off topic--renting with snakes?

I have had 2 apt and kept my snakes in both with the landlords full knowlage of my having them.



Just ask if "tank" pets are allowed. If they say yes, then tell them they are snakes. As long as the tanks are secure then there shouldn't be a problem.



I say it is better to be up front about it. If they find out you were hiding them they may cause a big stink and demand that you get rid of them. I didn't have any real trouble getting my landlords to accept the snakes, even if my curent one does not care for them (his wife gets creeped out) he gave me permission and cant take it back and say get rid of them.
