Ask. My landlord know all about my snakes, (In fact, so does the owner and a good part of the building know). He knows I moved from a one bedroom to one with two just do have more room for snakes. Lol. I got darn close to fifty snakes now? Just ask, with the ecconomy the way it is most landlords are letting more people with dogs and cats in just to fill the building, I'm sure a "cage/tank" animal isn't going to be much of a issue.
