Please be sure to post this to the herp law forum as well. If you want a quick reference for snake laws in WI you can visit the link below.



Do NOT use Waukesha laws as reference points. Waukesha bans all constrictors. Beliot is an all out ban on reptiles. I believe Kenosha Laws are reasonably fair and were written with the assistance of herpers. Milwaukee Laws ban carnivorous lizards, which is to combat the crocodilians but also includes monitor lizards. Snake wise it is dependent on the person on the scene and how the animal is housed. These are some cities I can think of off the top of my head.
