Well, we finally made it back home after getting spending 5 1/2 hours on the return flight to Seattle only to get stuck there for 6 hours trying to catch a flight back to Portland. I don't know how my wife does it, being a flight attendant and all, as it was driving me crazy towards the end.

We had a great time Saturday at the show. Even though it did not appear as big as last years show, there was still a lot of new and exciting animals being sold and displayed. It's truly amazing how herpetoculture is progressing in such a positive way.

It was great finally meeting in person several of you from here, Charles Shanklin, Brent Bumgardner and Kevin Rhodes. It was very interesting, fun and even enlightening talking to you guys. I wish we had had more time to talk and get to know each other better but obviously you all were very busy at your booths. After we left the show and got some dinner, we went back to our hotel room and crashed out for a lot longer than we wanted/expected to. I did finally get out and cruise the lobby and hotel grounds around 9-11pm and saw a couple of you engaged in conversations but I did not want to be rude and interrupt, so I kept on cruising.

It was also great seeing Jeff Nemanius and Chad Fuchs again. It's always great talking to the both of you. As stated above, I wish I had more opportunity to talk to you guys and get to know you both better, but it's just way to difficult at the show and I don't want to detract from your customers.

All in all, we had a great time! I hope everybody made a lot of sales and is getting back home safe and sound.

Til next time...
-----
Troy Rexroth
