Adam… I do remember those animals. I spent several days at Ric’s home in 2005 working on a series of images to use in the book. In particular, I worked on a series of images of River Road animals. Ric had several animals labeled as Lajitas animals. I used two of the three for the book (the third was in the blue the whole time I was there). Of course, by the time I was placing the images in the book, those pictures ended up in the “River Road” section. I had sent Ric some proofs and he mentioned they should have been labeled as Lajitas animals. By that time, the book was at the publisher. That mistake (one of several) is one that definitely needs to be corrected in the new edition of the book. Hope this helps…G. Merker
