Q-If I have a 15 amp circuit breaker, how many 20 watt halogen bulbs can I safely ave on that circuit? I have an empty out-building that has one electrical line running to it and it is on a 15 amp circuit breaker. Any ideas and or answers would be greatly appreciated!



A-if i remember correctly............

120v x 15amp = 1800watts / 20watts = 90 (20watt bulbs).......however i would run half the that a around 45-50 bulbs to be SAFE. do you know what type of wire you have in the out-building? copper or aluminum core?
