I'm no expert, but at 18" as long as it has good body tone, I would say it is under a year... but as stated above that depends heavily on it's feeding regimine. I have a female 08 that only likes mice, and won't take them more than every 10 days I also have a male 08 that's a pig 30 " and fat.

What area are you from that you respond to snake calls, if you don't mind me asking? This is the 2nd post about someone aquiring a ball like this, I believe the other was found on the sidewalk. Any ideas about how it got in the mulch?
