Poll: How to put bite into Florida's exotic-pet laws
Florida lawmakers are hoping to clamp down on owners of Burmese pythons and other exotic pets by putting some bite into the law and by limiting Internet sales. How do you think such pets should be regulated?

Enforce the current law -- too many owners are ignoring the regulations that are in place.
Limit sales over the Internet.
Increase the cost for a permit, which is now $100, to discourage ownership.
Ban all exotic species as pets. They are a danger to people and our environment -- and they probably don't want to live in somebody's house anyway.
