I've had great success with this method using unscented (or only mildly scented) bar soaps, such as Ivory or even the soaps you find in hotel rooms.
I lather the soap in my hands, rub one or more mice around until they're well lathered, and rinse well. Even the most frustrating feeders usually strike these with a vengeance.
I've used this method most on Honduran milks and alterna.
