Hello Aubrey,

I know that Dave has commented on that males need to be 2 and 1/2 and at that age not all are ready. My largest male an 06 (born on 9/22) was not intersted in breeding this last season, but a smaller one (not sure on B-day as my records are at home and I am 1100 miles from home) was good to go.

You may just have to see how they are when the breeding season starts and adjust plans as needed.
