I was recently out with some buddy's herping in S.E. Arizona.

My main goal was to collect a male kennerlyi to pair up with a female we collected last year.

We got to our spot and the conditions were perfect. Within a couple minutes I found a nice pair of neonates. Then after a little searching, we found two more females.

Here are pics of the three little girls we found. They are very good looking from this locale. I love the color of the first one!!

You may be wondering why I didn't keep the male. That's why I was there in the first place, right??

Well, I always say "its my time to catch a morph" I have seen tons of snakes in the wild and they are always very typical. Like most everyone else, I dream of finding something different. But I just don't have that kind of luck. My luck was about to change this particular day!!!

As we were just about to call it a day, we decided to do a little more searching. The next snake I was just about to find would make this day go down as the all time best herping day of my life..

Here are a couple teaser pics. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Yes, it's a boy and he feeds like a champ.

Axanthic kennerlyi!!

Comparison shot with a wild type female from the same area.

Comparison shot with an albino.

Belly shot.
