It's more an issue of age

Just like it is with people.

Previously, early reports were about 18 months for male BCI's. Now, I've heard of accounts as early as 16 months for male BCI's.

In general, better and more consistent success is obtained with males over 2 years old. And 3 is even better. I haven't heard any accounts that 3 years old isn't enough for BCI males but I certainly concede that it might not be enough for certain individuals.
