I definitely think the woman who found the snake either had a bad translator or is seriously superstitious. The photo, while not the best, can potentially be real. I am just trying to wrap my head around the genetics and how such a thing could come about...
I trust the UK tribune, but not whatever news source they may have gotten the story from in China.

I would like to see how this pans out and if some sort of parasitic lizard gets into snake eggs and transforms the babies :P
