any of the big four (rocks, retics, annies and burms), in theory, can potentially get big enough to kill a human. as far as eating them, the potential is there, the likely hood is slim to nil. i think he probably just watched one of those misinformation given "just bitten" type of shows on animal planet or national geographic. and kids believe anything that they hear on tv or read on the internet now days
