I saw something on tv that mentioned that afrocks can dislocate their jaw wider than all other pythons. So although anacondas and retics both have the potential for larger size, afrocks are the only ones that could theoretically open their jaw wide enough to get past a human's shoulder blade (the widest point).

I believe this is where that information is coming from. Granted, I think I heard this on animal planet, the king of sensationalist crap.
