>>... terry ...was also in the "business" of selling milksnakes dare i say the catalyst of the market and then got out, looking at the market today good business move, i admire that. now your saying that move of getting out was because of the forums/community and it not being fun anymore
I'm neither smart enough to have timed a move like that, nor sensitive enough to have left because of anything on the forums!
After 40 years in Florida i bought a house in the little Kentucky town where i grew up and where most of my family still lives. I divide my time between there and Florida, and can't figure out a way to care for a collection when travelling so often. I have both adapted to life-without-snakes (humans are amazingly resilient!) AND miss it immensely. But my collection lives on in the hands of half a dozen friends who have parts of it on breeder loan. Now I live vicariously through this and the kingsnake and field collecting forums, and once a year get to meet many new and old friends in Daytona. Next year, Thomas.... !!
