Dave,

...Some Colombian Rainbow Boas turn out calm and are nice to handle. Many of them are very active when held and will constrict with the back half of their body while the front half is looking for an escape. Most of my Brazilian Rainbows when put into a feeding box will sit quietly. Most Colombian Rainbows will try to get out before you can get the lid on the box. I have a very old pair that are totally tame and calm. I got a subadult pair in trade that do not want to calm down and will not stay tamed. I can handle them without being bitten and they seem okay but the next time I open their cages they are testy and will strike until I get them in hand.
