Posted by: westernNC at Tue Oct 13 11:12:36 2009 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by westernNC ] This is consistent with my experience. I wanted to purchase a pair of NJ Pines from a breeder in MD back in 2004. I called NCWRC to check on status and permits. I was told that I could not own N. Pines in NC without a special permit. I was given the option to apply for the permit, but also told that I would likely be declined because I was not affiliated with an educational institution at that time. It is not ok to collect or own N. Pines in NC. [ Hide Replies ]
