Haha, I know, right? It'd be a "purple" pueblan, not a hondo, but wouldn't THAT be cool! I took that picture within hours of the hatchling crawling out of the egg so I think it was probably still just a little "soft" -- the color should darken up a little in a few sheds. Mom and dad are also both hypo and apricot, and their colors have stayed nice and muted into adulthood. Rather than staying purple though, those otherwise jet black bands become a nice chocolatey color. The orange (apricot) bands become a soft lemon yellow hue. Geez, I've made myself hungry... Dad is pictured below. Both parents were produced in '06 by Jerry Bedsole.
