that white devil refers to sunglow super motley. The red devil is the hypo super motley, which came out solid red, therefor being called "red devil."
So I can only assume that the albino form of the red devil, aka sunglow super motley, would be the white devil? Cool name I think.
I agree with you on your previous post that each parent can only give one gene... being either hypo or motley. But somehow it's twisted. If thats the case, how did Jeremy Stone produce a red devil from hypo motley x hypo motley? One of the parents had to pass both traits somehow.... I talked to Jeremy about it, he said he thinks he has the genes figured out. He believes that breeding hypo motley x hypo motley would create a 1/64 chance of producing a red devil.
Not very good odds, but makes it that much more of a gem if we can ever get one to live! I dont remember who, I BELIEVE Frank martin also bred hypo mot x hypo mot, produced 3 red devils which did not live. So there is hope that its genetically possible and was not just a fluke. But theyve all been produced from hypo mot x hypo mot pairings.
That being said, a hypo mot x mot will most likely not produce a red devil. But then again, we havent really expiremented with it enough yet, time will tell
