11 inches at hatch?....hmmm....I gotta measure more stuff....sounds pretty good sized.....I did measure a yellow belly ball that just died at about a day or three old...it was 18 inches , and I thought that was actually BIG for a ball........

....problem is with coastals, easterns, reds, amaura, pales etc etc etc...they will grow like all that for a year or maybe two...then bam...they just stop growing at times.....I have reds here , most are not the size of these 08 easterns but at least one is...I gotta go look at them, the pales grew really fast for a year....yet they are now going on three I think ? and are like 26 ? 28 inches? as thick as my pinky finger....?....how big do they get usually???......coastals...same deal....my St Mary's grew well, are almost three? or are three....they are good sized and big as a finger or more....but the other OC temps the male is big but female stopped growing and I didn't breed them, she is like pinky or more thick....so what's she do for me? in Feb she laid 8 eggs and 6 months later she lays 9 more....not good, no male ever with her and I never wanted her to lay till next year.......they are all about done growing I think....all at 30 inches and under, finger thick, (pick a finger, all different)...

....I had an eastern milk, male, from 1989 till 1999...he grew the first year or so, he was 2 or three when caught....he never grew after that...once he hit about 3 3-1/2 foot he just stayed that way......just like the female here now...3 1/2 foot and she was here 3 years now....(only Ltt I got here).....(male died in 1999 after a female was found under same rock for him to breed.....10 years , same rock, and he didn't help me out, that female is long gone too, )...

....how big are pales? reds? supposed to be?.....
