That's pretty cool Jimmy!,...nice Everglades too!
I remember back around 1995 seeing some Yellow Rats at the Orlando Expo that were very similar to that one, only their heads had even less yellow pigment(just a tad on the tip of their snout), and the entire bodies were solid grey except for their four dark stripes on the adults. I recall the guys calling them "anerythristic" yellow rats, and always knew this wasn't the case, and were actually hypoxanthic animals instead.
What's funny is....I wonder why the heck you don't see more of them in today's hobby??
BTW, they were VERY expensive back then too at $250 bucks for HETS! I think...geesh! maybe THAT'S the reason why we don't see many around now!..LOL!
In any case, I always thought those guys were awesome looking, but at the time, that was just WAY too much "coin" to shell out on a het yellow rat.
I wonder what the heck ever happened to that line??, they were way cool!
