Mature male Westerns often go on periods of fasting which can last several months. Sometimes this is caused by the male going into breeding mode. If he's constantly cruising his housing, it could be he's looking for a female.

If his diet is of regularly unscented mice, it's best not to offer him anything scented as this can throw him off of what he normally eats. Snakes can go for long periods of time without eating regardless whether it's behavioral or environmental.

You say he's lost weight, but how much are we talking? If you don't have a digital scale, they are a very handy and necessary tool in helping to monitor your animals weight amongst other uses.

If his environmental temperature has changed or fluctuated recently, this can also cause them to go into hibernation/brumation mode which causes them to fast as well.

Any other information you can offer might be helpful.
