Posted by: kfisher29 at Wed Sep 30 23:05:09 2009 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by kfisher29 ] I have a 2 1/2 foot gray ratsnake that ate a baby yellowbelly racer that I placed in it's cage a week ago because today I was cleaning the cage and there was no sign of the baby racer and no possible way this baby racer could have escaped from the critter cage with a sliding lid. I've kept ratsnakes for years and NEVER heard of or seen one eat another snake. My question is has anybody else here experienced a ratsnake eating another snake out of the blue? Thanks,Kevin [ Hide Replies ]
