I started early this year, but I generally start pairing mid october. I tried a cooling period last year, and my snakes were having none of it. This year I only lowerd the temps by maybe 2 degrees. As long as I continue to see locks, I keep pairing-usually through february or march. I generally start getting eggs sometime in late marh or early april, on through the beginning of summer depending on how things work out. The only reason i started early this year is because it's been cool here so far and I've had males consistently refusing food.
