BTW,....The fact that it came from the area you mentioned, there is NO geneflow influence from any other ratsnake subspecies, so that individual should become a more solid black than many others can display from other parts of the country as well, although it ccould still exhibit some hints of pattern later on too. They can all have some variation.
That should be a pretty nice one!
