Hot snakes at the Charlotte, NC show????

I'm not sure if any of you noticed this or not, but all the NC shows are not allowed to have venomous snakes there. But as I walked around at the show Sunday, I noticed a few Mangove snakes there. If you are not aware of this species, they are a rear-fanged venomous species. Are rear fanged species looked at in a different light? Or was this a case of people not knowing what they're looking at? Just curious.......
