after cutting up the last of my roll a few months ago i noticed i was down to3 pieces left. so i ordered up another and it came in yesterday.

so far i have been just cutting them a bunch at a time as needed. i would set up on the floor mark out each cut and unroll as i went... well that sucked!! so this time i did it a little differently.

i got myself set up in the garage on a work bench and hung the roll from the ceiling joists. i set up an aluminum track for a cutting edge and screwed down a 3/4" stock to use as a stop... now its as easy as rolling it out to the stop line it up with the edge of the bench to keep it as square as possible and zip a knife down the edge of the aluminum track and repeat a couple hundred times...

it worked out pretty good, not great but WAY better than i was doing it before. only issues i ran into was trying to keep the paper flat to the bench, and using a dull knife ugh... but for what its for everything was fine. i could have spent more time and come up with a more elaborate set up but i have alot to do today and needed to get it done.

I ended up cutting the whole roll and got about 40 at 4' and 85 or so at 2'. here are a couple pics let me know what ya think and even how you do it.

first off we are hanging from the joists just used a dowel and put two screws through to keep it from sliding out or off the hooks

and here is the bench set up for the 2' cuts, the 4' cut set up was the same just moved the wood stop out..

ohh and balloon fiesta started saturday so the view from my garage was pretty cool

and that is just a small fraction of them just the ones that can be seen from my house... ill get more pic later we might end up going this saturday
