6 days in Costa Rica - Part 2

Ruschii tree boa







One of several sloths. This one was a 2-toed. Neat animals, but boring as hell. Basically a termite nest with fur. Forget your camera? No big deal, just come back and take pictures of it the next day.





4’ Fer-de-lance. Amazing camouflage.













Northern cat-eyed snake. We found this guy drinking out of our pool on 3 different nights. The pool was a semi-natural no chlorine variety, and the local amphibians were using it as a breeding pond.











I’m not really an insect or arachnid enthusiast, but here are a couple I found interesting.
