I do agree that the naming gets out of control... Everytime someone creates a new combo they feel the need to name it? But... In my defense, I have produced a few firsts, and outside of the Crystal, have just called them what they were. I named this snake only because the Titanium (Epic-Special-Cinnie-Pastel) is extreme enough to warrant a name (havent posted his picture yet). The rest are just plays on the same name which kinda works. We also have names like Bumblebees, Pewters, etc... that are combo names as opposed to listing different morphs, which have become common and known to anyone with enough interest to pursue more information.
Finally, the problem comes when you have quite a few traits in one snake! I dont know how many times I had to explain the "Epic" highlighter gene at the Anaheim show, and I probably said Epic Pastel Mojave Yellow Belly 1000 times and it got old quick! That is when I understood why some extreme combos, or at least extreme triple combos should get names.
