This animal sired one litter from which I obtained a sibling pair. From this pair, I'd hoped to produce something unusual like the original yellow animal. I expected to prove out the trait which Tim thought was hypo. Well, this year they finally went! Out of 2.9 babies, only one looked like this. There were several slugs so there could have potentially been more, who knows? I know she's not hypo because, if anything, her black is very pronounced and there is no orange or red present anywhere. I'm hoping she'll do a radical change as she sexually matures but she's beautiful right now in her own right. Could she be anery or? I hate to use the term "morph" until I have a better idea of her genetics. It's definitely a recessive trait though. We'll just have to see what happens in the future I guess. Your thoughts as to what she may be? | ||
