These two pics are making me wonder if it's your room lighting. I use a mix of GE reveal bulps and regular floodlights to fill in. Those seem to bring out something closer to the natural color in daylight withought the actual sunlight.



Careful though, too much reveal light and they look funny, even too good. I played with mine a lot taking and comparing pics with animals inside and out to get my lighting where I want it.
