Hello,

The purity statement was a bit of a joke and evolves from the endless discussions that herp folks have on purity &/or locality that influences the desirability of many animals.



This little racer was found on a great weekend trip to coastal NC. We tromped through some great habitat, saw numerous taxa (and received an epic case of chiggers), and I found my first NC Canebreak. Being able to salvage one animal from a DOR critter was icing on the cake. In reality the snake is probably long gone from this world but I choose to think that it still wanders the sandy pines in search of some grub!



Here is another picture of an E Hog that was rescued (from a terrified homeowner) and re-released.
