Range maps show the northern area of Alabama to be occupied more by the red Mole King(L.c.rhombomaculata), so it could be an intergrade of the two I suppose, but it's really tuff to tell from those pics. If it's a more reddish brown, then it likely has more Mole(rhombo) influence, but it still could be an intergrade of whatever percentage of either.
But in any case, definitely a "calligaster" subspecies of kingsnake either way.
