honose going off feed

My male hognose eats regularly every week. He didn't eat this week though and I tried putting him in a tupperware container in the cage with the mouse. He will usually eat it right away but he didn't for the past few days. It did get rather cold outside and the house got cooler because of it. Do hognoses go off feed in the winter usually?
