Yeah Doug, I should have. Well, to make it short, I grabbed a live small skink by the end of the tail so it would release a piece of tail and used the fresh blood to scent just the head of a small f/t pink. I then placed the still moving tail into a deli cup along with the pink. I dropped in the red milk and he attacked the tail section and ate it. Being a small meal I figured he would be charged up and still hungry and I was right. He immediately went over and smelled the pinks head and attacked that and ate it as well. Worked like a charm. The skink should regenerate its tail and be ready for another trick in several weeks or so. Wish I had more of them to rotate with this little trick!
