In one of the linked articles they mention 4 children died from being constricted by large snakes since 2006, yet on average 14 kids out of every 100,000 die from accidents in the US. 14 vs less than 1 child a year is a huge difference, especially when many accidents can be prevented, just as protecting our children from the danger of a snake is easily prevented.
Then again far easier to ban an animal than it is to ban parents who are idiots, careless, lack common sense, or under the delusion that nothing bad will ever happen. ----- PHLdyPayne
