What can be produced in captivity from locality animals does not necessarily bear ANY resemblance to what you would see in wild caught animals. Why is this so difficult a concept for people to understand? Wild animals have selective pressures on them. If they don't conform to what offers them protection in the wild they don't survive and they don't breed! If a speckled alterna wouldn't survive in the Huecos, it would never been seen in a wild caught animal. But that doesn't mean it would necessarily disappear from the entire genetic library of the population! Hello??? | ||
