You put the snake AND the mouse in the bag, staple so the snake doesn't get away. I had to do this at a pet store I worked at LONG ago, I think its silly really... Get the snake a hide and leave it alone for an hour. If the snake does not eat in ONE hour, its not going to. This also helps train them that they can't wait around all day and eat whenever they feel like it.
