Yeah, I remember reading about this a long while back as well. I did a little research, and among other things, this is something I found pertaining to the feeder goldfish thing.



It goes as follows.............



>> "They are fatty as well as having very little in the way of vitamins and minerals in them, but also they contain a chemical called thiamesse this stops your pet from absorbing the vitamin thiamine (vitamin B-1) a deficiency of this can cause both neurological problems and cardiovascular problems.
