I don't know the answer, but do all Central American Motleys have a crispness to their patterns like that? I thought I saw plenty of them with more typical looking fuzzy patterns although normally none of them as strongly connected as most Colombian Motleys look.

What makes this one and some of the other have that crispness to their patterns? Does anyone have any ideas?
