Over the years I've heard alot of negitive banter over the newsprinting on the sides and lower posterior of L.t. multistrata, and a few other subspecies of triangulum. And I wanted to point out a few things to the snobs or high brows of the multistrata world.

Is the holy grail of multistrata a thin black banding around a red saddle on a clean white background? (could be ) I for one like a number of color arrangements, and newsprinting is part of that schema for most of these great snakes.

This is one of the dirtest looking multistrta I've seen to date. But it's also one of the hardier pales in my collection, and in hand is a very nice looking animal. Gravid in this photo.

They can't all look like this fellow, and if you look close you can find a few specks of spotting.





This girl has such a high white background color that at first you don't notice the newsprinting. She is a good contrast to the Pale above her.

One of the more classic looking multistrata around w/ plenty of graphite flecking, but the Pale is so nice looking the flecking in the background isn't even noted at first.

The enigma multistrata. Pull her out in the snake room and she is one of the dirtiest Pales in my collection. Take her out in the sun, she turns into a stunner.
