Some individuals will eat almost anything they can swallow. I kept one that I collected here in Louisiana for a little while. Aside from the usual rodents, he ate: fish,frogs, and lizards. I would not have trusted that particular one in a cage with another snake, of any kind. That was back in my younger days, I don't keep venomous anymore.
