This is just MY general rule. Add the total of the perimiter of the container and devide it by two. Example if you have a snake that is 2 foot long the total perimiter of the container should be no less than 4 foot total. A container that is 24" 15" = 39 x 2 = 78" Divided by 2 = 39" A snake that is no larger than 39" should be good to go, My opion only..... Basicly 1/2 the total perimiter of the container.
