In bigger incubators a fan is fine but generally most keepers are in and out of their incubators so much that a fan is not needed to circulate the air.



If you have a larger incubator and you don't check on your eggs every couple days then a fan would be nice but just opening and closing your incubator every couple days is plenty of circulation you need.



I also only currently use hovabators because I don't breed a ton but my hovabators don't have fans and I hatch out snakes just fine.
