I built a smaller one just like it this weekend for the little guys (after seeing those pics you emailed me).
mine's 10x36 shelves on a 3/8" threaded rod. washers and bolts hold everything together and are fully adjustable.
I still need to add 2 more shelves to the bottom (home depot only had the 5 in stock) and wire up the flex watt across the back.
the containers are 7.5" wide x 11 deep x 2.25 high with a lid and pre-drilled holes on the sides. I chose the shallow shelves so the container stuck out the front about an inch in lieu of a handle. the shelves are spaced 2.5" apart (the shelves hold the lids on).
